Pharmaco-Epidemiology Project Leader

Position description:
Under the supervision of the center director, you will participate in literature review projects in different domains (pharmaco-epidemiology, epidemiology, quality of life and health, etc.) and development projects. You will be responsible for:
· Participation in writing marketing proposals, and terms of reference;
· Contact with pharmaceutical industry clients, and research organisation;
· Documentary research in internal databases, external biomedical databases (Medline, Embase etc.) and on the internet
· Selection, review, analysis and synthesis of scientific publications ;
· Drafting synthesis reports ;
· Updating scientific databases.
Candidate profile:
5+ years of post-secondary education required, in a Life Sciences related field with complementary training in pharmaco-epidemiology:
· Bilingual written and spoken French/English
· Strong capacity for analysis and synthesis
· Mastery of online research as well as research performed on biomedical databases
· Expertise in Office software
You have experience in similar positions, experience in the fields of epidemiological studies or pharmaco-epidemiology would be a plus. You are motivated, organised, autonomous, and diligent.
Full time position to be filled starting from January 2010.
Based in Lyon 3.
